Robyn and Emma’s Wedding – The Haymeadow, Churchinford, Somerset – Saturday 20th August 2016

The Haymeadow in Somerset is a perfect wedding venue for couples who are keen to spend their day in a beautifully rustic and rural location. It is essentially a blank canvas, aside from the lovely marquee, wild flower meadow, fire pits and onsite glamping tents! Set in the Blackdown Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, this wedding venue cannot fail to make you feel at one with nature.

RAF girls Robyn and Emma wanted a fairly quiet affair; celebrating their love for one another with their nearest and dearest was their main focus (rightly so!) and everything else just fell wonderfully into place! Well, almost everything…Unfortunately this Saturday must’ve been the only day in August that succumbed to torrential downpours and blustery winds! However the ladies and their guests shook off the rain and threw themselves into the day’s events with huge smiles and enthusiasm.

Robyn and Emma chose a traditional afternoon tea as their main wedding breakfast meal, complete with very cute personalised tea bags for each guest.

In the evening, everyone really let their hair down and danced on until the early hours, despite the chilly winds blowing outside the marquee. With the wet weather plan in action, our evening BBQ was moved inside, much to the excitement of the new hungry evening guests.
