We were honoured to cater for the lovely newlyweds and their rustic countryside themed wedding. Hessian cloth lined tables, hay bales furnished the garden, and gorgeous birdseed hearts were given as wedding favours.
Mark and Charlotte held their wedding reception in a beautifully decorated marquee in their spacious back garden, complete with their chickens, ducks and vegetable plot.
Guests were greeted with glasses of Orchard Mist – a cider aperitif, and the many bottles of different local ciders on the tables were welcomed by the thirsty Somerset guests.
The menu was a lovely light Ploughman’s, including thick cut slices of Wiltshire ham, chunks of Somerset Cheddar, homemade Scotch eggs, crunchy pickled onions and caramelised red onion chutney, served with an assortment of our freshly baked bread rolls.
Dessert options were disassembled Eton Mess, Dark Chocolate Mousse with Kirsch Soaked Cherries and Baked Egg Custard Tart with summer fruits. Though the children went straight to the sweet cart!
