With a busy (and still growing!) business and two young children at home, Charlie and Tash don’t get a lot of time to go out for nice meals and eat fancy things off a menu that no one can pronounce. So they knew exactly the kind of food that they wanted to serve on their wedding day; easy going food that everyone could identify with and get involved with. Fast forward a few months and this lovely, warming and homely menu was created for everyone, older guests and young ones alike.
Tiny Roasted Red Pepper Tartlets with Chorizo and Chilli
Chicken Liver and Burrow Hill Cider Parfait on Crispy Chicken Skin Crackling
Deep Fried Wild Mushroom Risotto Balls (v)
Marinated Mozzarella, Tomato and Basil Leaf Skewers (v)
Chicken, Leek and Mushroom Pie
Buttery Mashed Potato
Extra Tasty Gravy
Trio of Desserts:
Raspberry Cheesecake, Lemon Posset and Triple Chocolate Fudge Brownie
In the evening everyone got their dancing shoes on and moved onto the dancefloor for the classics, whilst tucking into a rustic farmhouse-style buffet. A perfect menu for a cold Wintery December day!
Home-Roasted Honey Gammon Joint
Warm Roasted Rosemary and Garlic New Potatoes
Warm Mini Cornish Pasties
Caramelised Onion, Beetroot and Cheddar
Sun-Dried Tomato and Herby Bread
