Celebration Brunch, The Grange, Horsington – Sunday 21st September

This was a wonderful event celebrating a beautiful and touching occasion for the family. I was greeted in the morning by Elizabeth, who had planned a brilliant weekend for her guests, particular the guest of honour: Elizabeth’s mother in law. She warned me that we may not see the rest of the house for a good few hours, as their celebrations had continued until the early hours of the morning and for some into the hot tub!

The house was decorated beautifully with fresh flowers from the night before, and the shutters were opened to let the morning sunshine in. After feeding the early departures, I laid out the extensive buffet which was well received and enjoyed. There were very little leftovers and the guest of honour was delighted with the brunch!

“I booked Jasmine for a hot and cold buffet Sunday Brunch for 18 people. Rather at the last minute, I discovered that 4 guests had a lunchtime flight which meant they needed breakfast no later than 8.30am. Jasmine showed good-humoured flexibility by providing two sittings within the original price and timescale. Although the food was delicious (including perfectly spiced kedgeree and an exotic fruit plate whose bouquet filled the room) the really striking thing about the buffet was the exquisite presentation. Jasmine used dishes in a variety of shapes to complement the food she was serving and garnished cleverly and with originality. I would certainly ask Jasmine to cater again.” – Elizabeth Nicholson
