What a wonderful Christmassy wedding! It was an absolutely amazing wedding to round the year off!

The menu that Alex and Rachel chose was real comfort food and perfect for the time of year!


Tiny bubble n’ squeak cake, topped with slow-roasted pulled pork and raw celeriac

Miniature Yorkshire Puddings with rare Roast beef, horseradish cream and watercress

Somerset Cider-battered fish goujons and triple cooked chips, tossed in Sea Salt and served in little newspaper cones

Really, really cheesy Somerset Cheddar choux buns filled with an apple and leek Mornay sauce, topped with crushed walnuts (v)

Home-smoked duck breast with red cabbage puree and grated celeriac in a crispy filo basket

Starter Course

Twice Baked Somerset Goat’s Cheese Soufflé, Baby Salad Leaves, Pear Puree and Local Cheese Shavings (v)

White Bloomer and Wholemeal Multi-Seed Bread Rolls with Salted Butter Roses

Main Course

Pork, Local Apple, Leek and Somerset Cider Pie

Served with Potato Duchesse, Seasonal Vegetables and Gravy

Dessert Course

Sticky Toffee Pudding with Rich Toffee Sauce and Vanilla Bean Custard
